Joy is in the Moment

Secret of Manifestation #4: Joy is in the Moment

Joy is in the moment, so always be sure to bring joy to your experience of manifestation. If you are pushing yourself to achieve something in your life that doesn't bring you happiness in the moment, take some time to decide if you are truly on the path that you brings you in alignment with Source, with your deepest desires and passions, and with your deepest values.

Sometimes we have to do things that we don't enjoy, but if you are sure that this is in alignment with your dream, then find ways to bring joy to the difficult and mundane tasks as well. For example, you can break them up into tiny, tiny pieces. This may be nothing more than looking up a phone number, turning on your computer and pulling up an internet page, putting your financial documents together on a table.

These small tasks only take a few minutes, then go onto something fun, and come back to that task later. Do a little more, then put it aside. Often you'll discover that if you do a tiny bit at a time, it all adds up to getting done before you know it!

Act As If

Secret of Manifestation # 3: Act As If

If you're serious about manifesting your dreams and goals, then act as if you really are serious about it.

In today's blog, I'm going to offer two simple suggestions for manifesting what you want. The first is to start a Manifestation Journal. Each day, you will write at the top of the page the date, then write what your major goals are (try not to have more than three or you'll lose the power of focus). Then write down what you will do that day to prove that you are serious about achieving your goals. Write at least one action you will take that day for each goal. If you have one goal and one action, that's fine too. This isn't about being super-human; it's simply about making manifestation real so that it works for you.

Your list may have one item or twenty-five items. It doesn't matter. It only matters what works for you, and that you write it down and follow through.

After writing it down, the next thing of course is to take action on that list. Do the things you say you are going to do. If you dream of writing a book, then commit yourself to a certain amount of time or pages that you will accomplish each day, or some other action that will move you toward your goal. That may be a certain amount of time doing research, taking a class, reading a book, meeting with people who can help you. The action itself is not important. It is the continual daily repetition, affirming your goal at the top of the page in writing every day, then taking at least one action to move you toward that goal every day.

So that's it: 1) write it down, 2) take action.

"Think about what you have asked for, and make sure that your actions are mirroring what you expect to receive, and that they're not contradicting what you've asked for. Act as if you are receiving it. Do exactly what you would do if you were receiving it today, and take actions in your life to reflect that powerful expectation. Make room to receive your desires, and as you do, you are sending out that powerful signal of expectation."

Cherishing the Moment

Secret of Manifestation #2: Cherishing the Moment

This moment can be perfect as it is. We can manifest perfection right here in this moment. We do this by letting go of the stories of the past, or letting go of our attachment to them. They are just stories and we can be curious about them, appreciate them, and enjoy them as such without being attached to the story: In other words, you own your stories rather than your stories owning and controlling you.

So you sit in this moment appreciating all the things you want to appreciate -- the more you appreciate, the more abundant and rich your life will feel. Look around and drink in the moment whatever is there. Maybe you are experiencing some quietness and peacefulness; maybe some people you love are there or close by. You look around you and see the wonderful things in your life – maybe you are in your home – how fortunate you are to have a home and all the things you have brought into your home. Have you brought in things that improve your life, things that you enjoy and give you pleasure?

Recognize that in this very moment, just this moment, right now, all is perfection. Even the challenges are a gift in your life, making you stronger, deepening your compassion for the world, opening your heart and feeling everything in this moment and not being afraid of that. You just feel it. Knowing that you can feel deeply without fear gives you an even stronger recognition of the perfection of this moment. And in that moment, that is what you manifest – perfection.

Visualization

Secret of Manifestation #1: Visualization

"The teachers of The Secret are all aware of the elements you bring into play when you visualize. As you see the picture in your mind and feel it, you are bringing yourself to a place of believing you have it now. You are also implementing trust and faith in the Universe, because you are focusing on the end result and experiencing the feeling of that, without giving any attention whatsoever to "how" it will come about. Your picture in your mind is seeing it as done. Your feelings are seeing it as done. Your mind and your entire state of being are seeing it as already happened. That is the art of visualization.

"You want to do this virtually daily, but it should never be a chore. What's really important to the whole Secret is feeling good. You want to feel exhilarated by this whole process. You want to be high, happy, in tune, as much as possible.

"The 'hows' are the domain of the Universe. It always knows the shortest, quickest, fastest, most harmonious way between you and your dream.

"If you turn it over to the Universe, you will be surprised and dazzled by what is delivered to you. This is where magic and miracles happen."

The key is to keep your sense perceptions open so that you notice the things that come into your life that will help you move toward your goals. For example: ideas, dreams, feelings, things people say, things you read or see or overhear. Begin to think of all these little things as gifts from the Universe because they are. The more you notice them, the more you will begin to experience synchronicity.
